Interesting to see Spence playing tonight for Forest , but
Ryan (secret agent) Yates, and Joe Lolley are not in the squad.
Also seen that Forest are getting Keinan Davis on loan from AV, so there is a potential loan CF gone, although he wasn't fancied by some on here anyway, and would have been a risk.

Don’t think Joe Lolley would fit into the system and apart from a good spell a season or so ago he’s largely an average championship player. Wouldn’t go near him.

All about opinions, I am a fan of Lolley, although he has dropped his standards from a few year ago, as you say, if he hadn't , he would be 1st name on the team sheet.
That makes him available, And CW will know if he can get a tune out of him, so other options like Todd Cantwell, Riley Mcgree, Billy Gilmour, Jamie McGrath may be higher on our list due to age , but sometimes an older head is needed .
We shall soon see, I trust CW more than any other previous manager to get the balance right. NW built a team of big lads but no Left sided players, a big mistake.
I hope we go for it, and both of us are satisfied on CW / KS choices.
Fine balance, juggling the squad without spending .I am confident they will get it right.

I would be amazed if we managed to pull off Todd Cantwell!
 
Daryl Dike just signed for West Brom on a permanent transfer, must have found some cash down the back of the sofa - good signing by them. Don’t think we were ever linked with him but he seems to have been mentioned earlier in thread.

I did mention Davis previously because he fits the NW criteria of a big bustling CF.
Not the type for CW , Connelly and Balogun links show what he wants.
We need more goals, I hope we get a poacher to achieve this, maybe the above will suit.

Yep I've mentioned Davis also, his apps have mostly been from the bench so his goal record is skewed. Nosmo can't see it 🙈

Folarin Balogun - First name on the list.. gone pretty quiet of late
Jack Simpson - Linked with a few times, looks like he's going out on loan?
Heitor Rodrigues - Linked early doors, Spence handed back to Forrest.. might be a goer
Riley McGree, - was he ever really linked beyond Simply Red & Nobby Barnes? Linked with Jamie McGrath in the summer.. but then turned out not so much.
Matt O'Riley - feels like we could to with another quality body in midfield, a long term successor to Howson?
Freddie Woodman - I thought he was a good shout

Got my eyes in Lewis O'Brien from Huddersfield midfielder and captain at 23
He's in my 'other' Notebook already.
Saw him play v Forest recently and he was excellent again....just the sort we should be looking at 👍📓

‘The New Adam Clayton’ he would take some shifting!

I would t mind us going for a double swoop from MK Dons and bringing in Scott Twine as well as Matt O'Riley.
