The quote from Warnock is that he needs games. What am I missing here?
Exactly. He showed a bit of ambition and that's admirable but he'd be better off playing week in week out in league one then just getting splinters in his behind in Scotland. He could be doing that here and he probably would have played in recent weeks if he'd stayed put.The quote from Warnock is that he needs games. What am I missing here?
I get it mate. You hate Warnock. I don't.No, the manager shouldn't be airing his concerns in public. Here he is throwing the blame for us being short of CBs onto Nathan or his agent (take your pick), you should know by now, it is NEVER Warnock's fault.
I think the issue is that the club wanted him to go to a club that would guarantee more games, rather than Hibs, where it would be more difficult.I don't see the issue to be honest. Would much prefer to see the young lads go out on loan, where they're likely to be playing first-team football. It's going to help with their development more than it would if they were sitting on our bench every week.
It's a shame Wood hasn't been given much game-time up to now but hopefully that will change.
I think the only issue here is Warnock commenting on the young man's choices and criticizing them. It wasn't necessary and if Woods contract is up at the end of the year, I don't know, it's hardly likely to make him want to come back to boro.
Why can't warnock just keep his mouth shut on stuff that is none of his business.
Then warnock could have said no, he didn't and the loan went through with his agreement. What's he got to be annoyed about? He's the manager of this football club, the only person who it's more the business of if Nathan Wood himself.
We've had a huge defensive crisis and he went out on loan on deadline day to a club where he can't buy a game, it's bound to peeve Warnock off.

Furthermore where Woods decided to go on loan is nothing to do with Warnock. He didn't want to use him and allowed him to go.
Warnock as usual wants to blame and critisize others whilst staying blameless himself.
Same old same old from him
Surely the manager should have a massive say as to where loanees should go? The manager is still responsible for their development. I was a bit surprised it was solely the decision of the player and his agent.Furthermore where Woods decided to go on loan is nothing to do with Warnock. You are right in so much as the club should have a say. Boro, clearly choose not to. Perhaps because warnock has no interest in the future of the club because he was a short term appointment.Surely the manager should have a massive say as to where loanees should go? I didn't realise that his contract is up at the end of the year. That's worrying since I think he has great potential and may leave us without us receiving a penny.I think the only issue here is Warnock commenting on the young man's choices and criticizing them. Can’t see him staying with us I’m afraid. He seems to be making sounds that are not encouraging.I didn't realise that his contract is up at the end of the year. That's worrying since I think he has great potential and may leave us without us receiving a penny.
