One Boro ITK claims Neil is off

We're all Boro fans and all have our own opinions, but to bring in another poster's personal life because you don't agree with theirs is just downright disrespectful. And there was a post asking for this particular poster to come back to the board? Christ.

This was the reason I left the board for a bit and changed username. Didn’t take everyone to work out who I was and oh look it’s started again. Nevermind.

As i have already said elsewhere, we don't have a proper DM in the squad anymore, we just ain't gonna do well until that's addressed....
I'm sure NW didn't sell Morsey, or if he did he was fully expecting a replacement!....
But Morsy didn't play as a a defensive midfielder for us, so I'm not sure who that can be attributed to the poor form, which was just as bad when Morsy was here.

Its always the case that players who aren't being picked, or have been recently moved on, are lauded as the reason why form is so poor.

Morsy dropped down a level when he left - that should be revealing in terms of his ability.

I still think the real question isn't whether NW should go, it's whether our replacement, if we even have a solid one at this point, can take over now.

If the new man can't, or won't, come on until the summer then NW stays for me.

If he does go, just wait for the words, "we're going with Kevin"

Yeah fair enough I take your point but the waters have been choppy for Warnock. He had the Britt Fletcher situation to manage then was faced with trying to motivate players who he knew wouldn't be here next season.
I think he's done a good job given the circumstances....like he's said recently, let's see how someone else does....we have a very small squad, loads of injuries and players who are clearly 'not ready'. Coupled with that he's had to lose players to balance the books. It's really difficult.... So when Diego says 'he deserves nothing he deserves to be sacked' I just have to disagree, yeah I shouldn't have brought his job into it but I wouldn't wish that on anyone ...
Very much this!

We spent more than any championship club this summer, save for Fulham, with most clubs not spending a penny.

The suggestion he's working on a shoestring is demonstrably wrong.
They got the recruitment wrong....
They replaced DM's with AM's & wonder why it ain't working....

Yeah, Neil got that wrong - He should've been our anchor...
Freeing up Howson to do the job he was bought for....
Morsy - 7 caps for Egypt yet league one level?🤔

But NW didn't play him as a defensive midfielder, Morsay even said he found it 'different' to his normal position.

And it a fact that not one single championship club wanted him when we let it be known he was available.
