The first one Ronaldo clearly just runs into his knee looking for the pen. Reminded me of Sane vs De Roon at the Riverside.Great player but he's had two penalty appeals rightly turned down.
I don't understand why he's not been booked.
Even better 2 blatant dives and one nailed on pen3 well executed dives with no penalty awarded
Exactly parmoboy, kicked the ball one way then ran in the opposite direction straight into the defender's knee. One of them reminded me of Sanes' against De Roon at the Riverside.
The last appeal was a stonewall penalty. I'm amazed VAR didn't overturn that decision. Really clumsy challenge.3 well executed dives with no penalty awarded
Except Ronaldo had both needs bent before the defender's challenge even came in. Meanwhile, the ball had gone out of play. The last appeal was a stonewall penalty. I'm amazed VAR didn't overturn that decision. Really clumsy challenge.
Well I wish we had a player who is even half as embarrassing - the guy has been and still is a quality footballerHe is an embarrassment, he will never change. One benefit of VAR is hopefully this will reduce.
He's talking about his diving.Well I wish we had a player who is even half as embarrassing - the guy has been and still is a quality footballer
Not questioning his footballing ability, but blatant cheating to win a pen is nothing but an embarrassmentWell I wish we had a player who is even half as embarrassing - the guy has been and still is a quality footballer
The ball hadn't gone out of play when the challenge was made and he didn't go down till the challenge was made. It was a stonewall penaltyExcept Ronaldo had both needs bent before the defender's challenge even came in. Meanwhile, the ball had gone out of play.
I'm not knocking his undoubted quality but I thought we'd left that behaviour behind a long time ago.
Probably was, but unfortunately thats what happens when you throw yourself to the floor at every opportunity. Did it twice in that game so he got exactly what he deservedThe ball hadn't gone out of play when the challenge was made and he didn't go down till the challenge was made. It was a stonewall penalty
Well it clearly wasn't because the ref. didn't give it and VAR felt no reason to intervene. The ball hadn't gone out of play when the challenge was made and he didn't go down till the challenge was made. It was a stonewall penalty
Watch the video with your own eyes, I'm not a Man Utd or Ronaldo fan but that was clearly a penalty. The other two weren't. The player clumsily dives in late and prevents Ronaldo from reaching the ball. Was he looking for it, probably, does that mean it wasn't a foul, no.Well it clearly wasn't because the ref. didn't give it and VAR felt no reason to intervene.
I watched it live and I've watched your YouTube video (both times with my own eyes) but I disagree.Watch the video with your own eyes, I'm not a Man Utd or Ronaldo fan but that was clearly a penalty.
