Aye fining him 6 weeks wages will make him want to perform well. He’s had injury struggles for best part of 2 years and it’s his second start for a new club and he’s managed to score. He’s going to be excited and passionate. I highly doubt he will do it next time he scores. I will let him have that one.

It's fun.

He celebrated a tap in like he'd won the World Cup and I enjoyed that.

If he celebrates 5 more goals like that and misses a match, I'll take it on the chin.

We are making some nice runs and movements just not picking the passes...

Tav at the end there, Watmore is totally free and he goes for a shot which Salah would of struggled to finish.

Hopefully we can gel over the next few weeks because individually we have some decent players at the club.
 
Decent performance. I think if you dropped leadbitter and Clayton in there and we would have had the cigar out. Key for me is getting payero and JLS playing well in midfield. Lots of good options upfront. Defence needs a bit more protection. I'd like to see Tav in the middle in place of crooks. At least for the time being.

The yellow card for taking your shirt off needs to go. Horrible rule because the sponsors want to see their name when a goal is scored.

Were you not the fella who was having a go at fans at the end of the season for saying we need to sign a goalkeeper and saying it was a priority. You couldn’t get your head around the idea that you could prioritise a striker and a goalkeeper at the same time. Brainless fan
 
I’ve never celebrated a win less.

it’s three points and that’s about all.

I thought we were poor all over th pitch, sloppy, misplaced passes, they were sharper than us at times just really not a lot to shout about except the three points.

as mentioned the set pieces are woeful.

In the position he plays, he's hardly going to get 5 bookings during the season. And if he does we've got Jones, Watmore, Olusonya, Tavernier and even Sporar who can play there if we need them to. Players are human and they're going to show emotion sometimes, especially when they've come back from such a torrid time with injuries. He's not going to do it the next time he scores.
