Clubs you have a soft spot for

....Or look out for their results.

Hartlepool
Darlo
West Brom (had a soft spot for them between 78-80. A team which could have gone on to do great things but was completely sold off)

Definitely Brentford.
Also Southampton as I know someone who works there.

After a brief period working in Dumfries I used to take an interest in queen of the south. I also was keen on Barcelona after having been to quite a few matches when I was younger. Although these two I’m not bothered about anymore

Detest Rangers.
East Fife are my favourites in Scotland

Soft Spot for Pools and Carlisle Utd.
Shamrock Rovers and Drogheda.

I don’t have a ‘second’ team like some do, I used to watch the old Scarborough at the Athletic Ground occasionally though. I do however enjoy watching teams that play open attractive football, like Man City have been of late. There is only really ever 1 team for me, Boro

Reading from spending a few years there
Man City. The first FA Cup final I saw as a kid. Had to take a side so picked Gerry Gow, Tommy Caton and Joe Corrigan over Ardiles, Villa and Hoddle

Darlo especially since they were shat on by the authorities

Other local teams Pools, York Harrogate, Carlisle

More randomly, Morecambe because by strange coincidence of work I went to the opening match at their new stadium. As a kid I liked the Man City of Summerbell, Lee, Bell, etc. and I think I have a residual fondness for them, similarly for the merseyside clubs as a consequence of living there. I wouldn't call any of them a "second club" (no such thing) and I don't even check on their results. Perhaps it is just the absence of antipathy?

In England the local ones: Hartlepool, Darlo, Carlisle, York.

Abroad BVB. Love what they stand for. Best stadium in the world. Great fans.

Used to like Barca but don't care now. Prefer Sevilla here in Spain plus a couple of local teams near to where I live: Real Jaen and Atletico Mancha Real.

Dortmund - think it's the underdog mentality, always feel like they're always up against the robotic machine that is Bayern, amazing to think what Klopp achieved with them.

Ituano as well;)🇧🇷
