Wendy's on her way back

Brings back memories of 1997. Had a Wendy Burger in London the day before the League Cup final against Leicester. I was very drunk so no idea if it was any good.

I'm a big fan of Wendy's in the US and always make at least one visit whenever I'm there.

Something tells me we won't get the free soft drink refills they offer as standard in the US, though, thanks to the sugar tax and the general ridiculous demonisation of fizzy pop in this country.

Me too, I usually visit Wendy’s when in the States along with Popeyes and Arby’s. Easily pleased! There was a Wendy’s in Watford for a long time, used to go there after at night shift at Northwood.

Northwood - the NATO HQ place? Always wanted to go in there. All sorts of interesting rumours about tunnels and more floors below ground than above.

Square burgers all round I don’t mind a Wendy’s there’s one near my mates in the us. Frozen chocolate as well.

Looking forward to 5 guys opening in July , I fancy a lot of these American franchises but I thought Taco Bell I had in Newcastle might of been better .

Yes mate, that’s the place. I had 7 drafts there, 2 in the Commcen, 1 in Systems, 1 in Crypto and 3 in Fleet Weather. It was an amazing place, especially if you managed to live out on lodging allowance with London weighting on top!

5 guys are on another level. I think they are my fave burger joint now, or second behind shake shack.

I too am curious as to how the "demonisation " of completely lacking in nutrition, filled with sugar fizzy drinks is a bad thing

I was in the Commcen in 99 when it was moved to the PJHQ building while the hole was getting done out. Lived in Mohawk block.
I was in the NATO Commcen 2014-2016. One of the best drafts ever had. Lived right next door to the SR mess.

Shake Shack is amazing! First place to visit in Manhatten. Interesting story behind it. The guy who founded it had a hot dog stand in Central Park which was so popular he saved his dosh up to start Shake Shack.
