I’m lucky enough to have traveled to some bucket list places already. When I was younger (and didn’t have a kid) I wanted to see as much of the world as possible and that would still be nice, but realistically I’d rather focus on some areas than others, I don’t feel I’ve seen enough of Europe...
-Peninsula Malaysia and Singapore. Missed the chance to visit when I lived in Brunei due to the pandemic so would like to head that way again.
-Cambodia and Laos. Been to TL and VN so would love to see more and heard great things.
-Eastern Europe from the Baltic’s to the Balkans. Obviously more than one trip but I love this part of the world and if I stay in Russia it should be possible. I include Russia too as there’s so much I want to see here!
-European microstates. The geography geek in me wants to visit these tiny places, only been to Vatican City so far but Andorra is a possibility as family have property there.
-Probably Germany, I’ve somehow never got to there over the years and that needs to be sorted!
The wife would throw Antarctica in there and at various times I’ve looked at Iran, Mongolia, North Korea and a big US/Canada trip. China would have been number 1 but having met Uyghers in Kazakhstan the current situation doesn’t sit right, even though I have a good mate from Shanghai.
