“Mowbray was not a particularly good player”
I wish we had him now
Give over man, he was a whole hearted lad who would run through brick walls, but he wasn't a top class player at all. He was a good stopper.Nobody pretends he was Bobby Moore, but the boy stood higher than almost any other in out history and when we needed him he was a mountain.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded.
Give over man, he was a whole hearted lad who would run through brick walls, but he wasn't a top class player at all. He was a good stopper.
he was far far better than thatGive over man, he was a whole hearted lad who would run through brick walls, but he wasn't a top class player at all. He was a good stopper.
To clarify I was talking aboutMowbray not Ugo.he was far far better than that
My mistake. To clarify I was talking aboutMowbray not Ugo.
Ehiogu was a class player and man as I’ve already posted.
Thank goodness no VAR back then!RIP Ugo, i coukdnt believe when Robbo signed him & we later ended up with Souhgate & Ugo, top drawer CB's
And who can forget Ugo's last ditch block in the league cup final to preserve our slender lead
Very decent tier two player, but lacked pace, and really struggled in the top flight. Bit like Pears, although Pears was an absolutely top class tier two player who struggled in the top tier.Give over man, he was a whole hearted lad who would run through brick walls, but he wasn't a top class player at all. He was a good stopper.
With his armRIP Ugo, i coukdnt believe when Robbo signed him & we later ended up with Souhgate & Ugo, top drawer CB's
And who can forget Ugo's last ditch block in the league cup final to preserve our slender lead
