Bettenelli is the worst regular goalie we've had for many years but one cant blame only him. The defence look like they're pssed
I'm not sure what else to say. It could get better, we're not actually much worse than them but no chance are we scoring 3. They have as much chance of doing that on the 'here's the ball chaps' break as we do
 
For the first time this season I’m bluddy annoyed by Boro! Terrible! 7 defeats on the bounce? Struggling for any sort of confidence? Bring on the Boro! Just pathetic.
 
The defense has been awful but Bettinelli is the worst keeper in the league.
The goal against Brentford, ok there was 4 on 1 but he came and just did nothing. I've never seen a professional keeper just run out and run past the ball and not commit to anything. He did the same when mcnair cleared off the line and he was so slow.

He's absolutely woeful

Yup, Paddy is all over the place so they’re overloading on Fry and Dijksteel, mainly The former. Howson should’ve had a shout for the second goal when three men were around him. There’s just been no communication at all.
 
Lost seven games in a row? Moral at an all time low? Just sacked your manager?

Get yerrselves to the Riverside and enjoy a game against the Boro. Featuring clowns in defence, clowns in midfield, incompetent unthreatening strikers and a goalkeeper who can kick a ball for a very long way. Help yourselves to the three points...

Didn’t say that was their only problem but it clearly doesn’t help, lost so many goals through shots that’s gone through him or shots he’s spilled into his box.
How can anyone be defending the keeper here, F***ing hell if we’re not expecting him to do better with some of these goals we’ve set our standards a bit low.
 
Scapegoating just the keeper is wrong in my mind. The defence are
all at sea and whilst I know Betteneli needs bombing out the problems run deeper.

34 goals conceded now is one of the worst now in the top half of the Championship and bearing in mind we struggle up front as well this is a massive concern. Another issue that needs sorting out in the Summer if we want to challenge next season.

Blaming the keeping tonight is missing the bloody obvious. I think he's been suspect at times this season, but not tonight.
 
My half-time team talk would be "If you can't go out there and represent this club with some pride, don't bother coming in to work tomorrow, now get the **** out of here!"
 
Anyone defending Bettinelli can you honestly say if the opposition have a half chance against us, do you expect us not to concede?
We can all see the defense and Howson have been awful but he's the biggest problem in this team.
