I agree but your never going to pay cleaners a proper wage etc this way everyone gets the same fair flat sum.I'm sure they'd find a way to ensure the funds end up n the wrong pockets.
Not a bonus, no. Pay them properly in the first place
I'd give them both. Pay them a decent wage for what they do and a lump sum (tax free) as a reward for the efforts since MarchI agree but your never going to pay cleaners a proper wage etc this way everyone gets the same fair flat sum.
Agreed. Pay them properly in the first place AND give them a lump sum.I'm sure they'd find a way to ensure the funds end up n the wrong pockets.

Do you know how much a junior doctor gets paid? The average for a first year junior doctor is 25,000 a year, thats after 5 years of medical training and for an average of 72 hours a week. That is about £6.50 an hour, yup doctors are paid enough.Maybe not the Doctors, they are well remunerated to begin with.

There is always money for friends of the government and their donorsYes - because the country is awash with spare cash at the moment.
Yes, we need to properly find all our public services from NHS to armed forces. Increase my tax, just make sure they have what they need. It's a nice idea, but what about the scientists, care workers, police, teachers, the army medical teams, volunteers, government employees, dentists, key workers etc all working whilst still at risk.
Are you including utility workers too? Those who work in supermarkets? Those teachers who've continued to work in schools with apparent high risk child super spreaders? What about the military? The police? Fire brigade?Say 3-5k as a thank you from the nation.
by NHS I mean not just the Drs and Nurses but cleaners porters ambulance drivers etc.
Agreed
This. A lump sum and a pay rise.I'm sure they'd find a way to ensure the funds end up n the wrong pockets.
