What could possibly go wrong?
The £500 will offset the £800 fine a bit.Can just imagine it : "Hey! Terry has covid and got £500! Everybody round his for a party!!"
£500 lump, arrange to pay off the fine over 24 months. Happy daysThe £500 will offset the £800 fine a bit.
And do people really think they will try and get Covid for £500? After all, they can't spend it on a ventilator...
That’s far too much common sense Jam.Anyone self isolating for two weeks with covid should have been given 80% of wages in the same way we pay people to furlough. Many people don't get tested as they can't afford to self isolate if they test positive

Why would it be a pain, we did it for millions of people, the alternative seems more open to fraud. It is common sense but I bet it would be a pain to implement. Throwing a fixed sum at the problem is simpler and could well be cheaper in the long run.
I'd imagine the £500 is made up of 2 weeks at £250? Aren't we isolating for 10 days now? Who even knows
And that the pope is catholic and that bears poop in the woods?I am starting to think this Government is making this $hit up as they go along.
Equally, I am starting to get the feeling that Trump might not release his tax returns.
And that the pope is catholic and that bears poop in the woods?
No one sensible wants covid. There are, however, people who think it's a hoax or think it's a harmless inconvenience. In other news, a 60 year old neighbour from a few doors down our street died with it yesterday.I don't really get it. No one wants Covid.
