Because of Abbott & Corbyn

Good, ownership in this context simply means taking responsibility for any outcomes of this mess. Sounds like you are taking responsibility, which I'm afraid will mean peoples ire when it impacts them directly. So I'll apologisefor my language now for when my local motorway is gridlocked due to the crappy lorrypark they are hastily building.

That's fair enough with me as you have apologised in advance. There is no point pretending you didn't vote for something or vice versa when you did. If you get it wrong, you get it wrong.

agreed, your responsibility now is to hold the leave campaign to account for what they promised you they would deliver. Just curious, did you vote expecting a no deal or did you expect free market access which they said 'no one was taking about leaving'?

To be honest, if i told you why I voted to leave, I don't think you be too happy.

I remember the day after the referendum and watching the news - a reporter was questioning several people whom had admitted they'd wanted to kick the establishment and didn't for one minute really believe we'd vote to leave. Truly astonishing.

I was on a flight to Prague for the weekend

That's a relatively minor reason according to polls

It was. Looking at BM's post asking why I voted that way I didn't think he would be too impressed with that reason
I would say it smacks of 'nose to spite face'. So do you feel your desire to see Cameron loose was worth the fractured society, and economic impact? I 'get' wanting see Cameron lose at anything by the way

Will see in the long run. Looks like the short term impact may not be beneficial but I will judge it over the longer term. You might have to wait 15-20 years for a final answer.

It was an anti government vote but I did feel that the remain campaign gave of a kind off “we know whats best for you, do as we say” vibe. I understand why some got that impression and voted leave due to it. Whether that message was right or wrong I dont feel it came across to well.

I am most upset with Labour about all of this.
It was very obvious that Corbyn had lied about his feeling about us 'remaining and reforming'. he sat on the fence for far too long because he actually wanted to leave and shouldve been challenged by Starmer when the Tories decided to have a leadership contest.
I thought Corbyn would be fantastic but I was wrong. I voted for Owen Smith when he challenged.
Whatever Labour thought of Corbyn he just rubbed people up the wrong way and was never going to be voted in. The labour leadership ignored the members who were always overwhelmingly remain and tw.ats like Milne and McCluskey were allowed to push the party in the wrong direction.
I honestly believe that Starmer would have wiped the floor with Johnson. He still might but it wont matter and tiny bit because it is all too late.
