Knockaert could be available

A decent champo player. I'm not sure we play with 'wingers' and that's why Roberts looks dead in the water.

He will be on 50k+ a week. He cost them a small fortune so doubt he will come cheap with a 1-2mil loan fee. He's a player we may have gone after under Monk or Pulis.

Just don't see big name loans anymore.

They've literally just signed him. Was on loan last season but paid cash for him in July. There is absolutely no chance he'll be going anywhere

This is why we'll never get rid of diving: fans don't really mind it when it's their man doing it.

If you want rid of it, you have to get your own club in order.

Don't agree. The only main way to get rid of it, is for the higher channels - FIFA/UEFA/FA etc to clamp down on diving.

Give officials license to send players off for diving, and if they miss it during the game and VAR fails to address it during the game, then fine/ban them after the game.

It's the only way it'll be stopped.

Until then, diving will be part of the game...whether we like it or not.

In general Championship clubs pay Championship wages for players they loan (say £5k to £25k a week) - the difference is made up by the loaning out club. Clubs often loan players out to keep them match fit and keep their value up, with young players to get them experience. Sometimes players want to be playing every week, especially ones who can't even get on the bench. I remember Festa could not get on the bench for us, later in his career, and we loaned him out to Pompey who were in the Championship and Pompey only paid a third of his wages. (source Harry Rednapp).

I doubt any Championship club would pay £50k a week for a loanee player in the current climate. Rumour is Norwich are paying £28k/week for Ben Gibson and Burnley pay the rest of his wages - Knockaert will be similar. Probably still a bit out of our radar (£15k a week). Cardiff still have parachute payments.

I just don't like players diving regardless if it's another team or ours. But sometimes they have to dive to show that it was an actual foul

I remember Ramirez being booed and heckled by our fans a few times for diving during the PL season

I'll repeat what I said in my previous post, they only signed him in July this year, so he won't be going out on loan. to anyone. Why would they loan out a player they just spent £15m on 2 months ago FFS?!! A completely pointless thread
