Surely you realise that MP's and ministers should be paid a wage that reflects the position, as in any career. In fact it is an issue largely driven by the left who, quite rightly, recognise that if these roles are underpaid then only the wealthy would be prepared to take them.
You seem to be saying the left is driving the issue to pay MPs a wage reflecting the position?

It's clear the job is harder and requires more commitment and dedication than Johnson ever envisaged.
He expected Brexit to be a breeze but then Covid-19 came along to spoil all his plans and now he's complaining about his lot.
