Johnson’s whataboutery over Priti Patel

Strange so many media outlets give a different account that the claimant said otherwise. Unless you know better because you were the claimant?

The department didn't admit liability so it didn't pay due to errors.
 
And the media is knowing for printing total truth. Least we know all them Corbyn stories weren’t sensationalised then if everything is gospel. Or is it only gospel when it’s stories against the right?

You seen the papers that specially named Priti Patel in that claim? Seen as one of the 2 claims that person made was a year prior to her joining the department
 
The staff member's grievance letter alleges she had previously attempted to kill herself after reporting similar allegations of workplace bullying concerning another individual in 2014, before Ms Patel was a minister.

Ms Patel is described as having acted "without warning" and with an "unprovoked level of aggression", in the woman's formal grievance complaint


Shortly after, the staff member allegedly took an overdose of prescription medication in the office and lay with her head on the desk for some time.

According to the supposed papers seen the person tried to kill them selves twice at work or the story doesn’t make any sense
 
Hopefully you can stop putting up your unattributed quote now coops as it seems to be factually wrong.
 
Where as that states the member of staff tried to kill herself in 2014 but then all of a sudden it’s 2015 when Patel is there

Also my post is not wrong. It says she only worked for Patel for 2 weeks. Just because Patel joined in May and that person left in October does not at all show she worked for her all that time. If you know how Caxton house works (I do) each minister has a private secretary 2 assistants secretary’s and a diary manager. They change round between ministers. Your post only shows the length of time Patel was there not how long she managed the alleged bullied person. I suspect my quote is from within Caxton house which would know the management structure
 
Yes, you're probably right. Makes the whole situation much, much worse if the person only worked for her for two weeks and allegations of bullying in that short time. Hopefully the enquiry is independent enough to fully investigate.
 
But the allegation (2nd one) has already been lodged prior to Patel becoming her boss. My take is this is classic spin from the press taking her initial appointment date but the claim was against the department not Patel.

Sure if I’m wrong though will find out and if I am then I’ll hold my hands up. Just seems a classic Hatchet job to me by the press
 
It does say "including Ms Patel" in the documents they've seen.

I know a couple of people who have had dealings with Patel. They told me a story which I won’t repeat but wow, it was quite an astonishing rudeness behind what she did. They said she had a very brusque manner in general. Suffice to say when the allegations came out they were not surprised.

Also, like most brexiters (not coincidentally), she assumed something actually quite complicated ought to be really simple, again ascending to dunning-Kruegers peak of mount stupid.

She can be intelligent AND a bully you know Cooper. You post on here with more spin than a national hula hoop championships, and suddenly you’re outraged that for once the shoe is on the other foot and it’s a Tory getting a kicking.

If she ends up being proven as a bully in court you and FatCat are going to have some serious egg on your faces.
