I think a lot of people say things in the heat of the moment, certainly after games. I tend to not post as much directly after a defeat when it be can be helped.
That said, a number of games this season I haven’t been overly negative after a defeat. We’ve had too many good performances where we’ve drawn or lost, and we’ve been scratching heads afterwards, wondering how we’ve lost. The last two home games have been difficult to endure though.
With regards to other posters. There are some names I only ever see after a defeat. You search their username and their posts and 95% of their contributions are negative. You aren’t educating or debating people with that mindset. Some people are more happy when wallowing in misery it would seem, and I tend not to waste my time replying to those types.
People just need to understand that it’s okay to disagree with others. As long as it doesn’t get personal, then it can all be healthy debate.
I went back and forth with a few people on the thread below. A lot of passionate and varying opinions on certain subjects. Despite differences in opinion, majority of it remained amicable and good friendly debate - that’s how it should be.
Recent weeks have shown that the club needs to look at the way it operates. I also think that we, as fans, collectively, need to be very careful as well. We take the **** out of certain other neighbouring clubs for their fans' outrage and unrealistic expectation. I think we can be just as guilty...
