Tory govt clears Tory mayor

Whatever happened to their usual we can’t comment on an ongoing investigation stance they they trotted out over the post office and covid etc but

funny how they are more than happy to shout this from the rooftops when it benefits them.
 
Sooo......if Labour get in can they still ask the NAO to take a closer look, or is the whitewash report basically, "thats all folks!" 🤷🏻‍♂️💥

I think a lot of people are surprised at just how critical it is. For a whitewashing job, there are plenty of black and grey areas.

"Based on the information shared with the panel, we have found no evidence to support allegations of corruption or illegality.
