I don't get this claim that we can "get the pick of the best prospects"?
 
To be fair, the report only says Villa are interested in him and might make a bid

There’s nothing to suggest we won’t say “come and speak to us in the summer”

If Brighton had been offered obscene money for Caicedo four weeks after they’d signed him up then they’d have moved him on. Same with Brentford. This is what those clubs do. They take calculated risks. They cream off the money the established big six clubs throw around like confetti.

Brighton sell when the offer is right. We will do the same I suspect. I am not that happy about it as it can be a bit like building foundations on sand but we have likely replaced him with Azaz. I know a few posters have it in for Scott and recruitment but I trust them. It is a massive shame as I think if we are in the championship next year he will,tear it up. I thought this year was about bulking up the squad ready for a real go next year once they have bedded in but money talks.
