There's a bus at least every hour now, both to Darlington and Yarm/Stockton.Only used to stop there twice a day before it closed. If I remember rightly.
Look at those bus times. 08:19 with the next bus 15:29.

Not according to that timetable above. And if you are right why not to Middlesbrough or even Redcar/Saltburn.There's a bus at least every hour now, both to Darlington and Yarm/Stockton.

Closed a couple of years ago - when I’ve been on the Saltburn train it’s going to rotHas Redcar British Steel stopped operating as a station now?
Will be part of a big transport hub for Teesworks in the future, buses, car park and the railway station all together behind the old steel house. Workers will then be bussed around site.Closed a couple of years ago - when I’ve been on the Saltburn train it’s going to rot
wouldn't providing regular shuttle buses from all local towns be a better use of the money? Great building station but need the trains to the service it. Buses could be flexed around flight times
This, and they wouldn't need many. I flew out of there in the summer, after our 9.45 flight there wasn't another until after 4 in the afternoon.wouldn't providing regular shuttle buses from all local towns be a better use of the money? This is spot onPeople are looking at this through the wrong lens. The objective has never been to provide Teesside with a viable airport with transport links to the wider community; it has always been an opportunity to channel public funds to a chosen few. Follow the money!
