good for them, not so sure its as good for him though?
I was hoping he would be our next manager. Maybe sometime next season?
I agree with that. Although just a season for us. Since the new ownership.Your club sounds similar though in the sense they get rid of managers willy nilly. Surprised he’s went to Birmingham though, at least at Almería he would have a chance of being successful even if it ended up in a sacking. At Birmingham I see a sacking and a pretty poor season

At one point in the season he was seen watching a match with the new owner (on tv in Saudi). The article said he was advising the club about the new academy they are building. Plus other issues.
Maybe he has decided it is too volatile a situation to step in to.
I hope he's not money grubbing!Disappointed for him tbh. He should have learnt from his stint at Forest that going to a club renowned for bad ownership and constantly changing managers isn't a step in the right direction.
I could be wrong, but can't see him lasting to this time next year. They've had 10 managers in 10 years since being relegated.
The English Championship is a great league - I would put it above many Premier Leagues in some European countries such as Scottish Premier. I think turnover wise it is the fifth richest in Europe.
Its great because it is so competitive, anyone can beat anyone, there is enough money to attract good quality players from all around the world.
