Yusuf ignore the muppets

They were stood directly behind me and I heard what they were shouting. Absolute @rseholes

All 4 of them have been reported to the club. Hopefully the club can link their seat numbers to an account and ban them from attending further games
If it’s anything like the difficult experience our lass and me had in sitting in our assigned seats in the Vicarage Road End back in 2012, then SEAT #’s might prove not to be the most accurate way for the club to identify the scumbags.

We’ve started to get to the ground much earlier these days, to avoid finding someone in your seat, just because they want to sit with their mates, who bought tickets on a different priority point level.

The club needs if possible to make an effort here it’s not acceptable behaviour.

Can Watford not assist in identifying the culprits?
If people report this anonymously during a game on Kick It Out it will be relayed immediately to a control room where they will start gathering information.
I witnessed this at Stoke last season when a guest in the control room. They can cross reference with camera shots etc and start gathering witnesses and statements during the game.
I saw this process rolling out v 5 Stoke fans racially abusing Steffen.
I think we need to publicise the process

If you mean because they might not have been sat in their own seats, I'm certain they were.

We were accidentally in their seats and they came to the game about 10 minutes after kick off so we had to move down a row to where our actual seats were. I'm almost certain they had their tickets out so their names should be linked to those tickets.

I knew they were pr!cks the way they went about making us move down a row. We were on the two end seats of the row and they just barged in rather than allowing us to move out of the row to go to our actual seats.

They confirmed just how big of a pr!ck all four of them were when 10 minutes later they started being racist.

Easier said than done mate. You've got 4 rough looking blokes who might think **** it and spark someone out who's said something.
Even going and reporting it to a steward, you'd like to think someone would do it but if one of them sees you reporting them you don't know how they'll react.

I would like to think I wasn't the only one who has contacted the club to report them.
I heard and witnessed homophobic abuse from Boro fans at a Charlton game years ago. I contacted Boro social media and mentioned i could give seat numbers, and the SM team said I really needed to tell a steward. Three blokes, and me, going to a steward to point out the people is not going to happen(and possibly the steward won't do anything too, especially for homophobic abuse).
I was saddened by the reply but I should have contacted the club directly, which the SM team didn't suggest. The one other occasion I witnessed something similar, I did. It's safer to do so, alas.

I have seen a mobile text number at grounds where one can use to report such stuff. Is this what you mean? I've never had to use it since I've recognised them. I will if I have to.

Is it a life ban if caught? It should be. It's 2023, sod any arguments about educating them or whatever, if they don't get it now they'll never get it.

No place for racist scum at the club or in society, all getting a bit F***ing tedious now isn't it? Kick em out.

When I said ignore them, I didn’t mean ignore them. I meant for Yusuf to try and not let it affect him or his love for the club and the rest of the fan base.
I’m sure he won’t, because of the type of nice fella he is.
