As a huge English folk fan, it often drags me to Irish folk, and why not, Irish folk is the most mature folk in the world and most likely the most popular.
Moore is either loved or hated, sadly usually on sectarian lines. I'm firmly on the loved side.

Here's a very good English folk singer, singing unaccompanied a very Labour orientated song I first heard this at 12 and it took me 4 years to actually own the album "writer of songs". Fantastic album with the powerful song The Soldier.
