The weekend beer and music thread...

And thanks to @mercury_redstone7 I went back to revisit this. Just brilliant. And although I loved the song at the time, and bought the record, I'd never seen the video until just now (vhs hadn't been invented) and they weren't big enough for Top Of The Pops. God Bless Youtube. This is fantastic.

From the Album Going Deaf for a Living, fantastic album (y)

The drummer is a mate of mine. Actually we met as mid-century dealers in Camden Lock stables, so had no idea of our respective music biz backgrounds. He now drums for The Members.
I still have the Fad Gadget single Saturday Night Special.
That's very cool. Can you thank him for his timing.
Not sure what a mid century dealer is but hoping you have quaaludes :)

Here's a very good English folk singer, singing unaccompanied a very Labour orientated song :) I first heard this at 12 and it took me 4 years to actually own the album "writer of songs". Fantastic album with the powerful song The Soldier.
As a huge English folk fan, it often drags me to Irish folk, and why not, Irish folk is the most mature folk in the world and most likely the most popular.

Moore is either loved or hated, sadly usually on sectarian lines. I'm firmly on the loved side.

Not much better than this.

My lord, I'm sure I saw Harvey Andrews about 20 years ago. Love it, thanks.

The downside this weekend is I have covid, so no beer, on the plus side I was sent home from work just when the Ryder Cup started, and what a day.

So why not Fleetwood Mac to celebrate an excellent days golfing?

Get well soon mate
As we're hopefully getting 3 points at Watford tomorrow I'll post a song by a fan of theirs (while having a couple of Dortmunder)
