But that needs to be balanced by the % of total people with that given name in the age group of say 16-80. It stands to reason that the most popular names commit the most crimes.

Seems to be a load of Ians who are wrong uns.

Ian Huntley
Ian Watkins (lost prophets)
Ian Watkins (Steps)
What did Watkins from steps do?

He's in terrible company and all I can find is he's mistaken for the other one, who's band I previously went to see on a number of occasions (Lost Prophets I mean, not steps, imagine the shame of admitting to see steps🤣).

Have you never watched or listened to them 🤷‍♂️
Of course I have, but didn't think that'd be quite a good enough reason to put him in with the other 2, whether tongue in cheek or not. The amount of stress it caused him having the same name, and being in the same industry when people mentioned singer, Ian Watkins and those crimes must have been unimaginable.

I thought I'd missed a vital piece of news and he'd actually done something wrong.

I don't imagine H is a big fan of the Ian Watkins song by K*** and the Gang.

Baby names tend to go in cycles, what is popular one decade will go out of fashion. The royal baby names also tend to impact baby names.

I went to school with a boy called Ethelred the 2nd 😜. He was the most unorganised kid you could meet and was ready for nothing. 😜

Recently a friend of my daughter named her little lad "Ronnie" I've never met or yet worked with another Ron, Ronnie or Ronald other than me Dad.
