The weekend beer and music thread

Last Saturdays home defeat to Millwall was a bitter pill to swallow, especially with so much up in the air with players missing, being two or three payers short etc.

Slightly eased with a win at Huddersfield midweek but there's no doubt that there's still a long way to go for us. Hopefully Hamer leaving Coventry will give us an easier game than we might have thought tomorrow, though with our own Chuba Akpom deciding not to renew his contract it's doubtful we will see him in a Boro shirt again. New signings are definitely needed.

With the weather being warm I sometimes switch to a relaxing cider and I discovered the Lilleys Peach Cider midweek. I've had their Mango cider before which is lovely, but having tried the peach I would recommend it as a refreshing thirst quencher. Lovely stuff.

As for a tune to kick things off here is a classic.

Evening all, hope everyone is excited looking forward to Boro coming away with 3 pts at the CBS Arena, doable now Gyokeres and Hamer are gone/going 🤞.

Anyhoo, I have the nectar of the gods in tonight, to enjoy watching City and Burnley, Great time for Burnley to catch City 2-2 draw for me 👀👀

As for a bit of music, I am taking you back to a 1970 classic UK number 1. The artist refused to record this classic only relenting late on and boy I bet she was glad she did. I will explain my link, it is the GOLD seal of the official of the peculier of Masham.

Ladies and Gents, I give you the great Freda Payne, the words will be apt when the last bottle is emptied 🤣

A zesty bottle of Yealands Estate NZ Sauvignon Blanc to accompany hot chilli posh dogs with roasted onions and peppers and grilled chilli haloumi.
A bit of chilled out Caro Emerald playing in the background.
I just found a bit of a gem of a Sauv Blanc in Home Bargains @Darlington It reckons the RRP is £10.99 but they were selling for £7.99 and I had a £10 discount voucher so got 4 for £22 and it's a very nice little number!
