Things that should be really easy to do but are actually impossible

Put a Fruit Pastille in your mouth without chewing it.
Hard, but not impossible. Moreover, it's SO worth trying as you really get the benefit of the fruityness (the best being the orange ones). I used to make 4 of them last the 15-mile commute home. I'd get 4 packets for a quid from the poundshop, who have now put them up tp £1.50 in that modern massive price-jump way we're all now accustomed to. I'm now onto Aldi sugar-free cola sherbets - expensive, but mint (and hopefully saving me £££s on dental bills)

choosing which piece of pre-packed same weight meat is the 'best one' on the super market shelf - say from about 30 packs . When you know the person to the side of you, wants to do the same and beat you to 'the one'

Being a good, reasonable, understanding and balanced person.
I try to be these things as much as possible but sometimes ego comes through, sometimes anger comes through and sometimes self righteousness shows. It really should be simple but in reality it's the hardest thing in the world.

Use a tin opener. I've even watched a YouTube tutorial video in the past but when it comes around to actually doing it I always have a chew on.
