What's wrong with these people, don't they know what doorknockers and door bells are?
He's knocking, very lightly. I had the radio turned off and was in the kitchen so I heard him, just. I walked through to the front door, opened it and he was already writing the card out. He said he used the bell, he didn't.Many people find it too much effort to actually answer tge door these days, it's in the posties interest to off load the package so I doubt he's not knocking

Exactly what's required. No problem with other delivery blokes, just the postie. You need our postie... Sounds like he is the old bill using the big red key everytime he knocks on our door
Don't know about RM but most couriers like evri, Amazon, yodel and some DPD people are job priced so don't get paid for repeat visits it's basically a set fee per delivery madeThese guys will be measured on productivity, no time to hang around, will probably gets some points for a ‘card left’….
I had a delivery due 6-9pm from Amazon. Had been to Aldi in Norton and popped to local chippy on way home at 5. While waiting for it I checked my emails and had one from Amazon saying they'd delivered it. I ran home, and they'd left it propped against my front door!!!! May as well have saved themselves the walk up the drive and just left it on the bloody pavementExactly what's required. No problem with other delivery blokes, just the postie.
