* The Original Unofficial "Official" Boro v Burnley Match-Day Thread *

Our passing and movement seems to have disappeared. We don’t seem to be the same team we were before the break.

And here's the inevitable negativity.

Burnley are the clear stand out team this season, they're better than us over the season and have been tonight too.

Let's have some perspective, when Carrick took over we'd give our left nut to finish in the play offs.

Jeeeez....
It's not negativity. That's a really really poor performance, and all of a sudden things don't look so rosy. Don't confuse negativity and reality.

No reason to panic yet but this will be first back to back defeats under Carrick.

We need to get a bit of confidence back moving into the playoffs. As things stand, Luton will be feeling very confident and rightly so.

There’s time for things to change though.

Yep that's fair. Over a few games though we just don't look quite like the team we were in February.

Like most others seem to be assessing, I'd have Fry and Forss back in the starting 11 from now on. I'd also really like to see Dijksteel back in and around the team.

"Managing expectations"

Lot of fans got carried away. Nothing wrong with that, but bit of a reality check.

Need to keep cracking on, get the playoff spot secured and ......anything can happen.🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
