Rather than say he was poor I would rather say he took a half to get fully up to speed with the team system and when he did showed his class. That was his first full game for us.

Corners need work but I don’t mind being not good at corners when we score 3 from open play every week.

Thought he went down on a few occasions too easily in the first half. Looked more composed second half. Wish we could do better at corners though. We get more than enough and don’t do anything with them.
But great result. Another 3 goals and Chuba keeps chugging along on his was to 30 goals.

Very technical player suited to a possesion based system
Great signing , we have the centre of the pitch boxed off, but i would not say he is like for like with Howson
We still looked more defensively solid though when Howson came on - Howsons defensive positioning is excellent
Barlaser and Hackney are very similiar i.e deep lying playmakers

The lad can obviously pick a pass and its easy to see how he's racked up so many assists this season.
He was the better of the two midfielders in the first half, but like Hackney improved an awful lot in the second, but that was partly down to QPR tiring a little and partley down to us moving the ball quicker and more accurately.
Expect big things from him.

He just looked a bit 'off it' in the first half. That's nothing against him or his ability. A full debut and coming into this side. I imagine it's eye opening after being at Rotherham.
Yet 2nd half showed his undoubted quality. I've seen enough in a game and a bit to suggest he's a steal at 900k. Just adds a bit of something we don't have.
That cross for the goal was quality. He did one similar against Blackpool that Akpom missed by inches.
He seems very confident and jokey in his post match interview. Also brought up that he was now ahead of Giles with assists

Corners have been awful for ages I think at this moment we're one of the worst teams in the league from them. Fortunately we're absolutely class from scoring from open play.

Barlaser had a brilliant assist record from corners at Rotherham I expect we will score a couple in the next few weeks
