Stormy Daniels

I don't know why they are labouring the point about whether they did it or not. Reality is he paid to have the story suppressed. Then faked his accounts to cover it up. Thats what he is on trial for. The rest seems a bit salacious and if anything is likely to favour the Human/Pig hybrid.

The problem for Trump's lawyers is they can't just focus on doing their job, they are also conscious that their idiot client will expect certain attacks to be made, which is partly just because of his ego and personality, but also, to complicate matters for them, because his idiot base also have certain things they need to be able to rally round and whinge about. Serves them right for taking him on. Their reputations will be in tatters and he probably won't pay them either.

I followed updates on CNN web-site. Daniels came across as rather unreliable and a bit of a gold-digger.
It really doesn't matter if she is or isn't. Stormy could have claimed that Trump flew her to the moon and they had a threesome with a sexy alien, the whole point of the case is to prove that Trump illegally used campaign funds to cover up a story that would have affected him being elected president.

It doesn't matter WHAT he paid the hush money for. Discrediting Daniels does absolutely nothing to help Trump legally, it's all about feeding his ego.

Yes but he's claiming the money was paid by mistake & then covered up by Michael Cohen, so he didn't ask for it to be paid to keep her quiet or have anything to do with the cover up. If he can create doubt that she's telling the truth they had sex and that she's only doing this for the money/notoriety, then that supports his defence.

Which is why the prosecution yesterday was providing evidence that Trump is a micromanager to the nth degree, and there is no way Cohen would have acted on his own accord.

Don't forget Cohen has already been found guilty of falsifying these business records and served jail time for it.
