Eurovision week!!!

Was disappointed in the demise last night of Denmark, Chechia and Belgium. Greece didn’t do it for me. Some crackers though that will do well including Israel and she had a fabulous voice. Switzerland though for me. He act as well as the song was brilliant.

I didn't know this at all. Sorry, my knowledge of eurovision is pretty lacking but I'm getting in to it more these days.

Oh yeah, definitely harsh on the performer I agree.

Just like all the Russian athletes who have been banned from international competition due to their countries invasion of Ukraine (well, the ones not already caught up in the doping scandal anyway)

Even though the Swiss song is good I just thought it was a Harry Styles rip off....even the staging...styles did that in one of his videos and a televised performance somewhere

I said the same thing to my wife about trying to be Harry Styles. She was saying he's one of the favourites but I thought the song was a bit annoying.

It is a great song to be fair. I wonder if the bookies were being cautious with everything that's going on....but now they've come through the semi final they know the public are willing to vote for them?
 
there seemed to be a suggestion the juries would like Israel so if they have the public vote as well...

They have actually drifted a bit now though, Croatia odds-on again
 
Current sky bet odds...think I'll put me bets on now...in case anything gets "leaked" from the show they do for the judges tonight

Probably going to be related to something he said during the press conference last night, the Israel singer was asked a question about the controversy/threat because of their participation and someone sat with her said you don't need to answer that, and apparently the Dutch guy said 'why not?'.
 
Well for me , I didn't watch any of the semi finals, whoo hoo ! It's all about the live sat night for me. I don't want to sit there saying oh here come 17 sh*t songs out of 20 that I already heard and watched the staged performance of. It's like my own Eurovision song intake blackout , Just one more sleep now ;)
