Zarah Sultana To Start new party with Jeremy Corbyn.

Momentum had him over a barrel with the EU and the right wing of the Labour Party would allow him to take their fingers out of the pies., and in no way would they allow him to have the state of Palestine recognised. The first manifesto was golden.. they should have stuck with it and they should have made sure we had PPCs to back it up. Boris chose his side and got rid of anyone who opposed him.. he made sure he had the backing of UKIP/Brexit Party to get him over the line. Corbyn didn’t even have the Greens on side!

Golden opportunity wasted. One which we will never see again.. the powers that be make sure of it.
Momentum made him into who he became, he was some old man 70 odd, hes 80 now and he was and always will be opposed to centrist Labour (not sure why he has a home worth millions never mind his bank account) but always hitched a ride within the labour party.

Momentum was a private company who was owned and run predominantly by British Jews - Lansbury & Schneider. Ill agree its good to have some positive good socialist policies but you have to play cute to beat this far right bunch and get in. You have to remember the main aim is to have a Labour Party elected in to government, but Jeremy was up against a full on right wing media, his appointment was a piece of cake for them to make Labour fail again..

Starmer is one of their own, a "Sir" who played it well. He looked a safe pair of hands and gave the democracy they claim we have some credibility, even now he has to make sounds to the right wing and they stupidly do the back peddling for him, I suppose ignorance is bliss, so Starmer he retracts what ever they think they are hurting him with : ) to serve a social policy... never happened with the farmers and school vat though did it.

The idea is to get in and over 5 years change things so people begin to feel the benefit. Don't go on that mode of "I'm an urban guerrilla and super far left and will stand by my ideology its been a stitch up" you'll never get in Govt in Britain like that, and there's never been a time that you would.

The winning is in the centre and has been for a while now.

Certain truths were not spelled out and certain actions were not taken. David Cameron screamed for Kier Starmer to be leader of the Labour Party in the HOC.. it’s no coincidence that their man is now at the top. He services their needs.. as Nick Clegg did with the Lib Dems.

The terminology used is not correct.. right of centre described as centrism.. left of centre described as extreme left.

Socialist policies.. socialism.. it’s not very well explained is it.. socialism is fine when it’s public money propping up failing private enterprises.. often formerly publicly owned services and assets. But somehow.. socialism is demonised when it comes to public money going into public services without private entities taking their cut along the way.

Corbyn is the eternal protest MP and good for him if he finds a protest party. I have sympathy with much that he promotes but he is damaged goods in a country where the press can demonise and condemn you into oblivion. Corbyn is someone who excels as an opposition but you could never trust him with actual power. He is however disastrous for the parliamentary Labour Party as he aspires to remove them from power as much as he does the Tories or Reform and he will take Labour idealists with him.

The Labour Party is no more.. it is no longer the home of the working man or socialism. The Conservative Party only serves the elite.. both need changing out.

The Lib Dem’s have always been useless (apart from keeping Labour out of power) and the Green Party will never be criedible as long as they place badger awareness over human health.

Well its my party of choice and it always will be, good luck finding yours.

For the man in the street who can see through the lies of Reform Labour remain the natural choice.

Many could never vote Tory and have always seen the Lib Dem’s as a bit wet and not electable. The Greens are idealists but not realistic so we all must do everything in our power to stop the march of Reform.

For those disillusioned by Labour I would challenge you to stop moaning, join the Labour Party, attend Local Constituency meetings and get your voice heard. Don’t moan - seek to change from within. Exactly what we should have done with the EU.

My local constituency party canvass every weekend to show people we are not only hear at election time but to hear people’s views and try and get the truth across of what Farage and his rich cronies really seek. Too many people complain about politics but are unwilling to put the effort in to do something about it.

@newyddion Clause 4 (so 'socialism' as in 'socialising the means of production) went the way of the Dodo under Toby Blair, the last time, incidentally, that the Labour Party had a chance to change anything on a national level in this country. Also the last (previous) time that the 'socialists' had the chance to decry a Labour government for not being 'socialist' enough, despite the masses of evidence from around the world that 'socialism' doesn't work as a political project. Not accepting that some things are better done by the Government and some by private enterprise, and some by a partnership is the failing of both sides politically in the UK. We have no long term strategies as both sides are determined to cast the other as a danger to the average voter.

It works when it suits.

They will expel you if you're not keen on genocide

The Labour Party is, and always has been, the biggest barrier to change for the working class: the Iron fist of Capitalism in a velvet glove, and a defender of the establishment. It hands out crumbs when the elite wants it to, then snatches back the rich man's plate from the working class. The Labour Party is a safe pair of hands in Government to maintain the status quo and protect the elite.

He's 76. He lives in North London. How much do you expect his house should be worth? Centrist Labour actively plotted and worked against him and his attempt to get a Labour Government elected. Corbyn is an old-school social democrat of the type that should form the core of the centre of the Labour party.

Momentum was a private company who was owned and run predominantly by British Jews - Lansbury & Schneider.
You've mentioned Momentum being run by Jews before. What is your point?

Don’t moan - seek to change from within.
The left did change things from within and look what happened. The centrists sabotaged the leadership. Why would anyone waste energy trying to fight the same battles?

evidence from around the world that 'socialism' doesn't work as a political project.
Tell that to the Scandinavians.

Largely pointless reading beyond paragraph 4 of section 1. There was no antisemitism crisis. It was a sham, created largely by the people working against the leader from inside the party. They've admitted it - and revelled in the chaos they wrought upon the UK.

The rest is interesting but doesn't look at the why - especially around Brexit policy.

As an historical document it has it's place in the academic record but it doesn't address my question:

Which idealist policies were unaffordable?

Absolutely this. Could Sultana be a younger version of corbyn?

Problem is the leadership is suppressing internal democracy, stifling debate on critical issues, and sidelining grassroots voices.
