I was working tonight I managed to catch some live action on the link given here in the 2nd half, he definitely felt a class up and he will be releasing the team more quickly and accurately while stopping shots, who would have thought!

The main thing for me is his calmness on the ball. It will draw teams out which will release Jones, Giles, Tavernier etc to get in behind teams pressing us. That will be so crucial to the way we play.

Get the spine of the team sorted - GK, CB, CM, CF - and you are pretty much there. We have 3 out of 4 (CM will need another body in if Tav goes).
Two forwards in who can actually hit a barn door......we could be looking at a seriously good season

Intelligent in-play, actually looks for teammates when distributing the ball. His sweeping up clearances also had purchase on them, bodes well for the season ahead. Let’s also not forget that our number 2, Roberts, has also looked assured through pre-season and with Alan Fettis’ coaching skills they should get sharper as the season goes on.

It is a pity that he didn’t do this last January, as with a half decent keeper we would have made the play-offs.
