Similar to my comment about Beasant by Ian Porterfield in 1992. I recall it being seen as unprofessional back thenIt's the sort of nasty "old school" comment throwing a player under the bus that you'd expect from the likes of Neil Warnock, not a 44 year old manager.
Dieng made a worse error for us yesterday, and Carrick had the class to just call it an error and move on.
Agree.Whilst I don't agree with the comments, coming back here to sit around doing nothing wouldn't be very good for him either. Orient will either keep picking him and he will play through it or promote their number 2 who can't be that good the fact they are loaning keepers in every season as their no 1 goalie. So after a while he would probably get back in. Then assess the situation for a potential recall at January and reloan to someone else.
Quick check and their second choice keeper is a 26 year old with one full season in the National League as his no.1 experience, he played second fiddle to Brynn last year. Hemming is probably well ahead of him ability wise so perhaps Wellens is wrongly hoping a rocket comment will improve things, terrible management style.Agree.
Football is essentially a tough old sport both on and off the pitch. The old phrase of character building springs to mind. If he does make it one day to our level or above, this experience will have benefitted him in some way. Hopefully his personality and self belief will see him through this tough spell. He has to experience the rough with the smooth I guess. He is not much younger than Engel who many on here feel it is ok to abuse in truth.
Someone at Boro must be considering it..Fans on their Facebook page are absolutely killing him. Several calls for his loan to be terminated.
With the exception of the third to last one, those are shocking mistakes. Feel for the lad because he’ll be nervous every time the ball comes near him now
It must have been after this legendary second half performance against Norwich was it?I recall a Chelsea manager "sacked" Dave Beasant in the early-90s, stating the latter would never play for them again. Beasant did play for them again, after Ian Porterfield, the manager, was sacked
Great character. Well done Zach.Redemption arc commences. Clean sheet, player of the match and in the League One team of the week yesterday.
Problem is, whether he claims it publicly or not, the manager will be mentally chalking one up to his muscular (i.e., àrsehole) management style. Self validation is as natural as breathing to wànkers like him.Last 3 games apparently he's been brilliant, wonder if the manager will take credit for his performance
