Yvette Cooper

I think she is great in opposition, she knows her brief, the detail and tortures the government fairly regularly. However, when asked what she would do differently, she is not so good. Could be that she doesn’t want to give their plans away prior to an election or, that she doesn’t really have any, which for me is worrying. I do think she was a very competent minister previously and would clearly be an improvement on the liars and loons we currently have.

I don't rate her. She was one of the Labour MPs that ruled themselves out of ever working in the shadow cabinet of the last leadership, even before the end of the 2015 leadership contest.

Yet of course she was happy to pick up her £80k MP salary in that time, and have the party machinery and volunteers help her get re-elected to her seat. Strikes me as being a bit like a politics version of Gestede telling Warnock he didn't want to be picked for the last few games of his contract.

Also pretty hypocritical given shes part of this Labour Party leadership that allows no dissenting voices whatsoever.

So there you go. Money grubbing, hypocrite who considers themselves so far above party members that why should she have any respect for party democracy. Bang average in other words, she fits right in.

I don’t like her tbh.. but respect her far more than Keir Starmer.

More importantly where do Raab, Gove, Braverman, Sunak and Johnson come in your pecking order of respect?
Is this one of those TORY ENABLER! things? Like if I don’t vote Labour.. then I’m at fault for us having a Conservative government.

More so that those that vote Conservative and more so than the utter crap Labour Party that has thrown a lot of crap my way and failed to represent my interests?

I don’t like it.. the feeling of been beaten into submission after being called an idiot or a Tory or a trot, nazi, dog… blah blah blah

That’s not how it works unfortunately. If Labour come up with the goods they will get my vote.. no football message board or social media waggy finger will change that.

That’s a lot of words used to a avoid the simple
Point that relative to the government we have both Starmer and cooper are stable and infinitely better.

If you are defining cooper and Starmer as utter crap, how do you define truss and Johnson in that same scale?

From an objective and pragmatic stance for a moment leaving out her previous actions.
She is one, if not the best, political operator in the place. She terrifies the government front bench.
