Your top 3 best Boro players in your lifetime (Any order)

Best: - Clough, Murdoch I'm left with a debate over Mannion or Juninho for third place. I probably didn't see Mannion at his best or anywhere near his best so I guess I've got to go for the little fella

If I was to look at those I've loved I'd probably still be here three weeks next Thursday and they'd vary between the loyal club pros like Dickie Robinson and Bobby Mustoe , Gordon jones etc and the magicians like Viduka and Downing, Ed Holliday

just far too many to mention

Favourites

Boateng - Happy to see him pick up so many votes. I don't think anyone else's fans realise how good he Was.

Ugo - I loved the way he celebrated every goal he scored.

Juninho - my first game as a season ticket holder happened to be the Leeds game. The club couldn't print the tickets in time so we had to collect a one off match ticket and I think that day solidified my undying love for MFC.

Clough
Juninho
Viduka

* didn’t see the 70’s teams live (only video) but Souness looked the part

Juninho
Merson
Emerson*

*During the very, very brief period when he could be a*sed and was on top of his game.
Same three for me. Emerson gave us just a glimpse of what he could and should have been - easily would have been our best ever but didnt have the heart and/or brains.

Vestas he came through in the mid 50s with Clough, Peacock, Maclean and Billy Day - they were known as the £50 forward line as the signing on fee was £10. For 2/3 seasons he was one of the best if not the best left winger I'd seen. He regularly had defenders sat on their bottoms as he whizzed past at top speed with the ball looking as though it was tied to his foot.

He got a couple of England caps in the late 50s by the time he gone slightly off the boil

We sold him to Sheffield Wednesday and he played with them for quite some time but by then he was little more than a push it past the defender and run after it type winger but his pace allowed a good degree of success even then

90 to present that's me, ridiculously tough to answer

Juninho
Mustoe
Hendrie

Been some more talented like merson, emerson, ziege etc but they were 1 season willys
