Your first boro game ,,

2-0 win over QPR in the 3rd round of the FA cup, 1998.

Mustoe and Campbell scored the goals.

Willie Maddrens testimonial against Scotland in'78,finished 5-5 or 6-6,I can't remember anything other than though!

Yep mine too, sure it was 5-5. Was this the game George Best played in??

Sadly I haven't got a clue who mine was against, asked my dad numerous times, he wasnt sure only to say back end of 1971

Vs Aston Villa 1988.. won 2-1 in what has turned out to be quite an iconic game.

It was the first time a second division game was televised live on ITV, Colin Cooper had to go in goal for a while whilst Pears had stitches to a head wound and we came from 1-0 down to win the game with that classic diving header by Mogga… no wonder I was hooked after all the drama of that game!

Talking of First Matches - Just yesterday I paid for a reprint of My Boro Debut. We have made a couple of corrections and inserted one added debut from author John Nicholson - hopefully we will plan a re-launch event very soon - this is a book of fan's and ex players talking about their Boro debuts - spanning the years from 1946 to 2015.

27 December 1976.
We beat Villa 3-2 with a hat-trick from David Mills.
Attendance over 31,000
Those were the days

Boro 0-3 Man Utd in 1994 (Clayton Blackmore's testimonial) was my first ever Boro game. First ever league game was Boro 1-0 Charlton in 1995. Big Uwe with the goal.
