Boam , Spike , Murdoch , Souness , Francis Lee , Stan Bowles , Best , Johnny Giles , Lorimer , Alan Clarke , Eusabio , Pele . I could go on forever, and all of Borobarmys list , as I was there at Ayresome park.

Man utd my first interest in football. So was coppell, McQueen, jordan, greenhoff, macari, pearson, et al later it was robson

I used to support Chelsea when I was a kid. Obviously behind Boro. All your favourite players were Man U thats why I asked.

1. Rainer Bonhof-- could he hit a freekick
2. Johann Cruyff-- 1974 WC hero
3. Mario Kempes-- 1978 WC magic man
4. Greame Souness-- still remember him being so arrogant at the Marton Tennis club
5. Tony Currie-- vastly underrated
6. Kevin Keegan-- best remembered perhaps for his exploits with Hamburg-- fans still love him there
