Nurses and doctors on the front line can’t get tested to see if they are -ve

I know its all a bit tricky at the moment but that can’t be right

And the doctor concerned was "too busy" to be interviewed

I hope the wider public has a moment of reflection once we come through this and realises where our priorities should be.

That's a very sobering article to read Pierre.

I'm hopeful that we are doing enough to supress any spikes that could overwhelm the NHS, but as many people have pointed out, testing has to be part of any strategy.
An antibody test was mentioned today which should (as long as recovery from the virus gives you immunity to further infection) show if you are OK to carry on working. I would presume that not registering the presence of the antibodies would mean that you had not yet been infected, so in a way it would serve the same purpose of testing for the virus. My only worry about it though is that if your antibody test is negative and you are on the frontline of health and social care, you can still pose a danger to others.
I'd be very interested to see what the differences in the tests are in terms of the timescale between testing and knowing the result. If one is faster than the other, or even just requires less advanced lab facilities, then that would seem to be the most expedient choice.
