That is quite steep. Being exiled down south I have ventured to Lords and the Oval to watch Yorks, £20 a ticket there, which seems about right for championship cricketWas tempted to pop over this week until I saw it was £33 a ticket!!
Crikey. I watched the first few overs and they were all over the place so I went out for me dinner.Edited title for this weeks game.
getting to must win sort of game after Essex won last week (against Sussex) to drop us back into the bottom 2. Hopefully Surrey will beat Durham and do us a favour.
Yorks win toss and ask Sussex to bat
good start they are 29/2
cracking catch from Wharton to get the 1st wicket

can you go down the arcades for the afternoon please and inspire a collapse....Should've stayed out.
No beer involved but I just looked away and missed the fourth one.can you go down the arcades for the afternoon please and inspire a collapse....
Did you go for a pint early and miss the wicket on ball before lunch too?
Was Ibrahim's 24 ball duck just too riveting? No beer involved but I just looked away and missed the fourth one.
Well he hadn't bowled much this season due to carrying an injury, but took 13 wickets in last weeks match vs Derby and is absolutely on fire with the bat at number 3....I other county championship news ahmed has a centry batting at 3 for leics, be interesting to see if he can get back to bowling where he was 18 months ago
Durham fighting back, 3 early wicketsYorkshire will leap above their northern neighbours after these matches. Durham have gone to pot of late.
It’s ridiculous, really. Relative to what the two other venues charge, and other counties charge, it makes any comment that people ever say here about the football club pale into insignificance. I always liked Scarborough, but that’s taking the proverbial and you can go off a place given time. Was tempted to pop over this week until I saw it was £33 a ticket!!
