Yannick Bolasie loan deal

I actually did a post a few weeks ago about how he was 'stealing a living' 😂

He's only played 29 times and scored 2 goals since joining Everton in 2016.

I'm really not overly convinced about this one. He's on 70k a week and even if we pick up 'as little' as 20-25k it's still a fair stretch as Gibson has been saying how skint everyone is. He's also pretty injury prone.

It's a 'big name' but he really hasn't done anything for 4 years... Well apart from picking up 70k a week.

I remember a film called uncommon valour. Gene Hackman puts a group of ‘broken’ soldiers together to find missing POW’s in Loas .
Warnock is our gene Hackman but has a different kind of victory in mind . I’d love if his plan comes together .😎👍UTB

Could be wrong but I’m guessing it’s a case of Warnock looking at players who have no chance of playing at their current club and therefore trying to get him on the cheap I.e we will pay £15-20k of his £80-£100k wages, and with the window closing imminently and potentially no other clubs being interested the Prem team having no other option, better to get some of his wages covered and get the player out of there rather than training with the 1st team or reserves and causing problems. Same applies for Rose.

Also, Warnock must fancy his chances of working his magic, and getting him playing again, after all that’s what he does.

Where's he fit in? Can you play him and Roberts either side of a CF. Thats plenty of pace and trickery.

His end product over the last 4 years is somewhat poor. Goals and assists ain't great. He will fit right in👍

And he injured his back doing that!

He was actually ready to sign here, stayed at Rockliffe with his missus. Was ready to sign and Bruce phoned him and offered to pay his full wage. Certainly don't blame him for that. And I would sign him coz I think Warnock is just the man to get a tune out of him.

Yeah I remember that now , we were paying a tiny amount in comparison. I think that kind of move got Gibson scratching his head about clubs and ffp

It would just seem a bit crazy that amidst talks of total financial collapse in the EFL and Faustian deals being a necessity that we would be taking on a player on obscene wages.

Anyway no need to be concerned, it’s all whispers.

Bausor needs three weeks to do loan paperwork anyway so no chance.

I suspect Everton are keen to take almost anything in wages as he has zilch chance of playing for them. After the last 2 years teams will not be queing up for him any longer. I trust Warnock to get the best value he can.

10-15% of his current wage I'd probably say fair enough. Not much risk. 20k a week is far too much for someone of his ability

I don’t think I’m bothered about the stoke lad , we maybe relying on our midfielders to contribute with more goals .

I hear ya but I just think we're very light up top and all you need is another injury. However, finances dictate and we have to be sensible. Just glad that Warnocks's here now more than ever!
