Wycombe considering legal action

And this on derby on site

Derby County chief executive Stephen Pearce could be removed from his position on the EFL board with Stoke City’s Tony Scholes a potential replacement, the Daily Mail report.

Derby CEO Pearce has been on the EFL board since 2019.

But with the Rams in a lengthy battle with the EFL over their amortization policy, Pearce has been caught in the middle with a potential conflict of interest at play.

POTENTIAL conflict of interests err you think

I hope Wycombe take them to the cleaners and add a claim for compensation for loss of potential earnings.
Screw them!
Theyve been cheating every Championship club directly and indirectly for a good few seasons.
The EFL also need a kick in the wotsits.
Our game is a shambles:mad:
UTMB!

Ahead of the start of season 2021/22 the EFL is seeking three new Directors to represent Championship Clubs on the EFL Board following the resignation of Nigel Howe (Reading) and Stephen Pearce (Derby County) alongside Mark Ashton (previously at Bristol City and now with Ipswich Town).

Crikey - Reading as well, eh? What a coincidence.

One of the replies to that article:

"the iffy victory at Middlesborough need looking into"

Does anybody remember anything "Iffy?"

I think it is a touch harsh to keep laying at the feet of the EFL too much. They have been weak on stuff, but they have found them guilty in the past and Derby have appealed and taken it to arbitration at every turn.

Derby need the book throwing at them and the EFL needs to re-write the FFP rules to leave less wiggle room for appeals, there should be fixed penalties.

I honestly believe for serious infringements the minimum penalty should be relegation.
