Wrestling thread

The MNW documentaries are a good watch. Shame it went so wrong for WCW.

Even with Khan's £££s AEW will never be serious competition for WWE

AEW has too many wrestlers on the rosta then even had NJPW people wrestle on their shows which created the forbidden door! What was the point of Tony Khan buying ROH?

Then you have the likes of Christian, Matt Hardy and Sting who will be on good contracts not really getting involved in any storylines

how many days has roman reigns been champion now?

I pretty much exclusively watch aew nowadays. I kind of enjoy it but I do find it word with the NJPW and ROH stuff and also they give Indies a chance who then disappear. Takes some keeping up with

AEW will be dead and buried in ten years time or strictly on YouTube.

I appreciate what they are trying to do but throwing Daddy Khan's millions at a hobby isn't working at the moment. Saying that some of the matches on there this year have been phenomenal.

I liked watching the likes of Orange Cassidy when it first started and Hangman Page, Sammy Guevara but as soon as a WWE star was coming to the end of their contract or let go you could almost guarantee theyd end up 'All Elite'

Jericho, Moxley, PAC, Cody and the young bucks were names people could associate with when it started up. Kenny Omega had a reputation as one of the biggest names not to have wrestled in a WWE ring too.

Likes of Miro, Brodie Lee (RIP) FTR, Malakai Black and Brian Danielson made the move over too but everyone thought Bray wyatt and Braun Strowman would make the move over but it never happened.

It hasnt always been a success though bobby fish and kyle o'reilly didnt last very long and where does that now leave adam cole 'bay bay' (Has he got similar problems Bret Hart developed?)

Wasnt Big Show meant to wrestle for the company?

CM Punk should have raised the bar too, but injuries have put paid to that which brings us to our current champion MJF who was pretty much cody's mate when he was first introduced to the company

The deal with IMPACT could have been a much bigger storyline too
