Would you take bamford back

It’s a hypothetical question but it’s clear some players click at certain clubS and others don’t and it appears that he’s miss firing again at Leeds ( just as he did at Norwich Burnley forest etc) but he did click here.

so if offered would you take bamford back

Yeah, probably, even though he's a serial cheat, but he's "failing" at Leeds and he's only 3 goals off his best ever season with us.

I just don't think he's that good a goal scorer, he misses a lot of big chances.

I rated him when he was here and liked him, but he left to go Leeds and despite what people speculate on here we don’t know the real truth about the deal. Leeds fans haven’t took to him like we did and his cheating has made him not very likeable to opposition fans also and I do a little smile when he misses a big chance. I think I’ve just gone off him but there is no doubt he’s a good striker at this level and would improve us. But I would like to see us keep Fletcher and add a couple of new, different forwards. I can’t see Bamford wanting to come back here.

Absolutely, I would have him back in a heartbeat.

Far superior to anything we have at the moment....

Caveat, the fee and total financial package would influence the decision to take him on or not. However, in purely footballing terms absolutely, clever player and loved watching him when he was here.

At the risk of sounding like a melodramatic teenage girl after her favourite boyband has broken up, I couldn't help feeling ever so slightly deflated when I first found out he was being sold (and especially who we were flogging him to as well).

I'd have him back and keep Fletch and Britt. When you have two of them on the pitch, we look so much more of an attacking threat. 2015 was an awesome season for him. He was Championship Player of the season and he has to be good to get that, despite the armchair critics saying otherwise.

Well.. problem is we need wingers x2, centre back, creative midfielder, alll for a bag of chips.
blBamford even if he was willing to come back would be at least 8-10 million that we don't have in a position where we have Britt (highest striker transfer fee in the championship?) and Fletcher (who I rate)...

Would be better trying out a random young hungry player from league 1 or an experienced freebie probably in terms of £ for £ value.

Loved him when he was here but wouldn't have him back now. I know I shouldn't be bitter but to be honest the way he celebrated that goal he scored against us at Elland Road left a sour taste in my mouth. Think he showed a lack of respect to us fans as we showed him a lot of love during his time here, and even when he came back to the Riverside with Leeds he got some applause.

He was decent in his first spell, not so good in his second. Scored a great goal for Leeds at the weekend but was taken off at half time. He'll be on his way in the summer.

Will he ever find a club he doesn't think he's too good for that wants to keep him?

I remember the game when we drew 0-0 there under Pulis. Bamford was warming up and the abuse he received from the Boro fans was unbelievable and he looked shocked too. Perhaps he remembered that when he celebrated.

Would be our best striker by far, cost to get him back plus wages will likely be 3x our entire budget for the summer. Need CBs and wingers as a priority

Not for me. Fantastic first spell, topsy turvy second (arguably not all his fault), but I just think he’d cost more than he is worth, fees and wages. He seems to be one of those players who will never settle at a club long term and always have one eye on a move.

It will surprise nobody when I say I would welcome him back without a shadow of a doubt.
As has been said he is technically on another level to anything we currently have.
I'd love him to return.

Not a hill I'm prepared to die on but I think a player not celebrating a goal shows a lack of respect for their current club. It is like the former employer means more than the current one.
