Would we fancy Billy Gilmour (should we go up) ?

Not too sure how bad that knee injury of his was but it’s certainly knocked him back. Certainly has the talent that’s why Brighton took him.

Played 11 times for Chelsea in 3yrs,
Loaned out to Norwich last year and only played half the games (didn't make a good impact)
signed by Brighton this year and cant make the bench.
He was Lampard's blue eyed boy when he first played for Chelsea, but his career has gone sideways and backwards.
Would rather have Harry Wilson, unless we can swap Jones for him
 
I wouldn't be looking to sign many talented youngsters.

Got to prioritise those with a track record of getting it done in the pl, even if they are a little past their best.

matty crooks is a better player than mctominay.
 
A big nasty Ball winning midfielder if we go up, what De Roon would've been played properly.
Along side Hackney and rotation options with Howson and Barlaser

Fair amount of guile and sheer brutality needed in the Pzl

Answer my question then. He wouldn’t work alongside Hackney too similar and rather Invest my time in Hackney and go for a different type of player alongside him.

Don’t talk to me about foresight, if only you had it about Carrick like me
