World cup tickets on sale at 4pm

Finally through - 6 hours after joining the queue.

1st game - complete sell out.
2nd game - accessible tix only

Ticombo it is!

All England games sold out btw.

Got onto the website at 10pm, after a 6 hour wait in the queue.

As noted above no tickets for the England games, or any games involving the top teams (eg Germany, Spain, France, Brazil Argentina).
Lots of tickets avaiable for lots of the least attractive matches.
Also surprisingly there are tickets available for the USA's first game, but priced at $2,000 a seat!

b***ks.

Im in Toronto for the Iraq Senegal game, thought i may get tickets for this one at least. Cant see much of an uptake for that.

Will wait till I get over there, they may pay me to go, just to fill the stadium.
Im looking now and Iraq v Senegal just Cat 1s at 450 dollars left. No Panama v Croatia left

That USA v Paraguay operner is massively overpriced

I know of a couple of people who haven't declared criminal records* on their ESTA application and got into the country.
If they can't check something as important as that, they have no chance of trawling through years of social media posts and seeing mainly videos of kittens playing with balls of wool.

On my last ESTA application (about 18 months ago) I left my social media account names blank and there was no problem with my application.

Enter at your own risk, though.

*drink driving prosecutions and things of that ilk.
Trust me drink driving and small stuff you’ll get through 100% on ESTA

Just got on. Pressed enter, my page went blank with a message at the top
"HTTP header is larger than 10240 bytes."
Couldn't do anything, press back button on phone, now at start of the queue again.

Im on my Samsung phone. Obviously not good enough.

Made a decision, buying England tix off Vivid seats and sod the other games.

Vivid Seats ?? The cheapest England ticket is £960 for a seat at the very top! Their £300 fee on too of the listed price is criminal.

FIFA's official resale platform opens today - although given that FIFA take a 15% cut of every ticket sold (and 15% off the buyer) plus there is no upper limit on the advertised price, I'm not hopeful!

There will be loads of tickets on there no doubt from professional touts. The cost will be eye watering

I read a lovely piece on somewhere that basically said you could follow a team all the way to the finals at the 2028 Euros for less that the cost of a parking space at one game at this world cup.

I got two tickets off vividseats for a lot less than £960 each. It broke my heart and principles, but I was planning on going to 4 or 5 games, now my budget has been blown on just one game.

The ticket availability and prices are just plain ridiculous. Im really hoping that in 2 years, the Euros won't be as badly planned, but greed may get the better of UEFA and they follow suit with dynamic pricing.

A 66 World Cup Ticket at Ayresome Park standing in the Clive road corner, next to the newly roofed and seated East Stand was 7 Shilling and sixpence, I think it works out 37.5 pence today. Average wage was around £20 a week.

I hope they are legit mate as I wouldnt trust Vivid at all for World Cup tickets given the scamming going on

We're in Vancouver during June visiting daughter amongst other things. Previously we tried to get tickets but failed miserably then lo and behold today she's been in the queue for hours and has managed to get 4 tickets for New Zealand vs Egypt. I'm absolutely chuffed 😁

EDIT: We've paid CAN$195 per ticket which is about £105.
If they are on the official website I am sure they are in US $ but still - well done.

Apologies the US $ price is 140 each for this game so you are absolutely correct.

Fingers crossed they are legit.

Vividseats give a guarantee, and i paid on my Amex, so I should be covered.

I may get my money back but not get into the ground.
