Bad planning.
Boro match at 3pm
England match 7:00pm.
We’re in Yarm from 12:30 having food then pinballing our way down the high street.
I might be a bit inebriated by 7:00pm.
Club and Country- LETS DO IT!!

Hoards of blokes packed into pubs wearing pastel jumpers. Will take about an hour to get served at each place, sounds like hell.

Enjoy it though, bah humbug 😉

How has this happened. There was a big awareness campaign over the last year . Any xmas work do origianally in the planning to happen on or before the 18th Dec ( WC final ) had to be moved to the summer of '22. It was basically an entertainment and leisure exchange program. World cup takes the xmas months ,, Xmas doos palaver move to the summer months. :p Your planner needs to sit in the naughty corner.

In any case - the Party planner should at least have a copy of the Boro fixture list.

I'm at a family meal in the North East for Dec 18th already pointed out its World Cup day and it's a 3pm KO, two months ago. I much rather be down the pub than sat on a sofa feeling stuffed wishing my various family members would stop talking.

Hate my Christmas works do, miles away and £100+ taxi fare home because I refuse to stay in a hotel and spend half the following day waiting to sobre up before driving home.

I'd rather not bother and donate the cash the company spend to a food bank.
