Woody sacked if we lose tonight?

I imagine Gibbo will be at the game tonight and also that if / when we get beat the atmosphere will be toxic... might it just be enough to push him into getting rid of Woody? Might make the decision easier if Wigan win too...

The trouble is it may just be too late anyway. I think Mr Gibson is a stubborn old mule who always knows best unfortunately, I doubt Woody will be sacked. I think it more likely that we will employ a new coach called Stewey D in the summer.

No. Leeds are a good side who have more quality than we do - Gibson knows Woodgate can only do so much with the players at his disposal. He will stick by Woodgate, I think. I expect him to be in charge next season.

I think the time to sack him was after the weekend, we’re probably expected to get next to nothing in these 2 games anyway so I don’t think defeats in these 2 games will alter his thinking. I would of sacked him on the night of the Barnsley game without a moments hesitation.

But he’s still here, so I think it’s probably in all our best interests to try and show the team we’re behind them tonight and get as many points as possible and stay up. I don’t want league 1 football next season. Hopefully Woodgates had a long think and realised players he can trust now and who he should count on until end of the season.

Not at all. He’s got a lot more experience than the pair of them and is the only one with any sort of tactical awareness

It’s this type of thinking that’s got is into this mess. I love Leo as a backroom coach. But under no circumstances should he ever manage this club. We need the best available , sick of the jobs for the lads approach.

I don't think he'll be sacked before the end of the season, the club have made too much fuss about his appointment and the new model we are supposedly putting in place thanks to Uncles Tony's club-wide review.
Sacking him now or while we are not inside the bottom 3 would be tantamount to admitting that it was either not working or that it was just a charade to cover up what was a cost-cutting exercise.
You know my thoughts on where the problems stem from and I'm not going to rehash them here again, but until those changes occur then anyone getting the job is going to face issues.

On the contrary. Who do you think was the brains behind our revival at Christmas time while Keane was injured?

Are we in the position to get the best possible any more though Block21?
When we had a bit of financial clout was the time to do it, not now we're on the bones of our **** with an external company keeping the banks at bay.

If he is sacked he beats Guti at Almería. I think Guti will go if we lose away at Cadiz at the weekend.

I've said numerous times I wanted Woody as soon as he spoke about his ideas, his philosophy, I'm not saying he's the best there is, we'll get the club Steve Gibson wants at the end of the day
IMHO, we're in this mess because of Gibbo

We did well in the two spells we played as he said we would (the first was very short). We have been rubbish in the two spells when he has reverted to a long ball to poor ball winners in the hope something might break.

I have never been so not interested in football since the weekend.
No pace, no goalscorers, no midfield, no ambition, and we'll get humped tonight, it's only going to end in tears
