Womens football seems to be top heavy With local girls with zero footprint in the NE

They're all happy to host England vs anyone. Clubs were much less willing to host the less box office games.
They are now, not so much in 2017/18. The venues for England games held then were Manchester Academy, Walsall, Wycombe, Tranmere, MK Don's, etc. St Mary's was the biggest stadium which hosted a game in the UK over thise two years. After the 2019 World Cup suddenly everyone wanted to host England games. Shows how far we've come.

But, as annoyed I am that games aren't held up here, the FA can only choose venues which put themselves forward to host games. Hopefully there'll be a few more women's games held at the Riverside in the future or if we ever get to host a Women's World Cup.
