Seems not. A very short sighted decision. Games at Sheffield and Rotherham but nothing further north.

it does seem wrong. I read that they tried to choose stadia with less than 25k capacity but with "great facilities".

Rotherham I get but why not play at the Riverside rather than Bramhall Lane which is 15 miles from Rotherham. Similar capacities but gives the people in the North East a more convenient venue.
